Long-Term Patient-Reported Outcomes In Breast Reconstruction After Mastectomy

A new study out of the University of Michigan and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York has found that patients who underwent breast reconstruction using their own tissue instead of an implant reported significantly greater satisfaction with their breasts, psychosocial well-being, and sexual well-being at two years compared.
