Breast Reconstruction Awareness Day

Dr. Kind and Dr. Chang will be participating in CPMC’s Breast Reconstruction Awareness Day on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 from 4-730 PM.  There will be a reception and educational fair featuring new technologies in breast reconstruction.  The location will be the Bothin Auditorium, 3700 California Street, San Francisco, CA.

 

2018 J Weekly Readers’ Choice Award Winners

Once again, Dr. Kind and Dr. Chang selected for a Readers’ Choice Award for best plastic surgeons in San Francisco by the readers of J Weekly.  This is their seventh year in a row, and the only plastic surgeons in San Francisco to be selected.

Length of stay after microsurgical breast reconstruction

After reviewing our last 500 consecutive patients, we have found that our average length of stay is 4 days.  Some patients go home after 3 days and the occasional patient will stay 5 days.  Patients are out of bed the day after surgery, leading to shorter hospital stays and quicker return to normal activities.
